We employ only local Scaffolding Erectors in West Sussex who have received extensive on the job training and have CITB and CSCS qualifications as a minimum. On every job our scaffolders attend, from new house developments to house extensions, they are happy to provide extra scaffold tubes and set up boarded platforms to create a safe working environment. Such experience and dedication to safety came in useful on a recent job in Arundel on Maltravers Street which was a difficult job because the new build property was being constructed behind a ten foot high flint wall. All scaffold materials had to be passed over the wall and a walkway was built to enable the rest of the scaffolding structure to be completed.

Station Road, Bognor Regis. This timber frame development creating 26 new flats used scaffolding erected at various heights to suit the build process. Three different levels of scaffolding platforms were required with all lifts boarded and including debris netting due to the build being positioned next to a main road in the town centre.

Lewes Road, Brighton. A church steeple and lower buildings needed access platforms for remedial works including changing a number of heavy stones in the process. A scaffold hoist was provided from ground level to enable the materials to be lifted to the boarded working area.

St Martins, Chichester. Two access towers were erected to the front elevation of this property to re-decorate the dormer windows. The scaffold standards were positioned in the highway and we provided the highways licence and traffic lights for the duration of the works.

Water Lane, Angmering. A new build pharmacy being built by a main contractor needed two lifts of access platforms built to the girth of the building for brickwork and roofing works. We also provided a scaffold staircase to access the flat roof level during the build.

Worthing Road, Littlehampton. A large housing project constructing 120 new build properties and garages used scaffolding as the means of access to all areas of the build. Progressive lifts were installed with the super structure to roofing level and including scaffold loading bays with up and over gates installed for stacking materials.

Horsham Road, Steyning. This new build extension to the existing grammar school required a base lift scaffold erected to the girth of the building with edge protection handrails installed at roof level for the works. All the internal rooms had birdcages installed for added fall protection while the timber works to the new roof was completed.

Lower Street, Pulborough. A domestic property positioned on the pavement needed a roofing scaffold erected for works on the front and rear elevations. We applied for the highways licence on this project and erected the scaffolding platform out of normal working hours to keep the general public safe during the install.

Penhill Road, Lancing. On this project we provided a gable end scaffold to the side of a block of flats for re-rendering. The independent scaffold could not touch the building during the works so a raking shore was built to hold the scaffold upright and in place whilst the works were carried out.
