But as usual, we like to offer more and so whatever your requirements, all you have to do is ask. We were just the right company to work on the M4 flyover in Brentford as we were able to provide a hanging scaffold to the full length of the underside of the flyover to enable a painting contractor access for sandblasting and re-painting. We also fitted the external area of the scaffold with a fire retardant monaflex sheeting to contain dust and debris. Whatever your job, from a house extension to brand new house developments; and whatever your need, from aluminium tubes to boarded platforms, we will provide a first class and highly rated service, just as we did for the following customers:
Ballards Lane, Finchley. We provided the edge protection handrails to the steel frame building of a new build office block and then externally erected the progressive scaffold for the brickwork and cladding. All lifts were fully boarded on this scaffold project with debris netting installed to conceal the works. Denning Avenue, South Croydon. Six residential blocks of flats three storeys high, required access to the soffit and fascias for renewal. We erected a four lift high scaffold structure to the girth of each block with the top lift boarded and included gable end scaffolds for the works. Access to the works was via a ladder tower built on the front elevation of each unit. Fulham Road. This terraced townhouse was having loft conversion carried out and we were contracted to install a temporary roof cover over the front roof on the building to enable the works to be carried out during the winter months. We used a contract lifting company to crane the scaffolding beams and sheets into place due to the exposed location. Norbury Hill, Norbury. Roofing scaffold was required to fit a new skylight to the rear extension of a detached property. An access tower three lifts high was provided to the flat roof level and handrails installed to the flat roof area. A ladder point was provided to access the roof level including a ladder access gate. Worple Road, Merton Park. Scaffolding including a highways licence, was provided for the landlord of a shop front for re-decoration works. Four scaffolding levels were provided with an internal ladder access and debris netting in conjunction with the highways licence. Parkside Avenue, Wimbledon. A new build detached property constructed out of timber frame and brickwork had a blocking lift and two further lifts installed to the girth of the framework with all lifts fully boarded for access to install the timber walls and floors and to build the external brickwork skin. Chaplin Road, Wembley. A chimney stack scaffold was erected at the rear of the property for renewing the lead works around the base of the stack. Four scaffold lifts were built in total with the top lifts staged on the roof level positioned just below the bottom of the stack to access the lead. Sussex Scaffolding have worked all over the London area including the boroughs of Enfield, Redbridge, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Sutton, Waltham Forest, Barking & Dagenham, Bexley, Havering, Newham, Bromley, Tower Hamlets, Lambeth, Westminster, Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Hackney, Camden, Kingston upon Thames, Richmond upon Thames and Hammersmith & Fulham.
Scaffolding Fact
Did you know that in the London Olympic Stadium, the 55,000 temporary seats on the upper bowl are supported by a scaffolding structure that can be dismantled and re-used once the stadium has fulfilled its purpose? Of course scaffolding is one of the construction industries most recycled equipment and has been used for everything, from Olympic Stadium seating to urban scaffold sculptures such as those created by Ben Long which were on display around the London area.
