Have a look at how we have helped local Horsham customers with jobs completed in Horsham: Rookwood Park A new build detached property had a two storey extension built to make additional room for a games room and extra bathroom. Three levels of access platforms were provided with the scaffold erected with the external trades to roof level. Giblets Way 48 new build houses were built on this project with scaffolding providing the access needed to build the brickwork and blockwork walls to roof level including loading bays with steel gates. Internal birdcages were installed to the top floors of each unit for edge protection whilst the new roof covering was installed. Saxon Crescent A conservatory scaffold was erected to gain access over the glass roof area at the rear of the property for re-decoration to the upstairs windows, soffits and fascias. Two support towers were built either side of the conservatory with 8m long alloy beams used to span the area to create the working platform. Rusper Road This scaffolding project provided access to the front of a terraced property for re-pointing works including a chimney scaffold erected on the ridge line to enable the contractors to demolish the stack and make good the roofing felt, battern and tiles. Pondtail Road A Horsham based roofing company contracted us to provide the access platforms needed to replace the roof covering on four properties. Two lifts were constructed to the girth of the buildings with the top lift positioned at gutter level for the works. Crawley Road Edge protection handrails and an access tower including a rope and wheel were erected to the roof level of a small industrial unit to enable the roofing contractor to carry out repairs. A triple handrail including toeboards was built on the roof to provide a safe working area. Worthing Road Timber frame scaffold was erected at lift heights to suit the build to enable the construction of a block of 12 flats. All lifts were fully boarded on this project with an external ladder tower providing the access to each level. The scaffold was fully adapted to 2.4m lift heights for the external cladding works to be completed. Southwater Junior School, Cedar Drive The main contractor on the project requested we provide the scaffolding platforms to complete the external building works with an internal birdcage to the new hall area for building the blockwork walls and to decorating the ceiling. Scaffolding for Nearby Horsham TownsThe main bulk of our business is through word of mouth and we have been recommended by clients to provide for the following towns: Warnham; Broadbridge Heath; Itchingfield; Southwater; Slinford; Rudgwick; Nuthurst; Lower Beeding; Billingshurst; Ockley; Crawley; Wisborough Green; Ewhurst; Rowly and Cranleigh. Horsham still has its own working brickworks made from the Wealden clay that makes up the foundations of the town and where possible, many new developments try to take advantage of this brickwork. Some brick built buildings, particularly apartment blocks such as the one we worked on at Worthing Road, use timber frames as a lightweight construction material which can be used with brickwork. The material needs special timber frame scaffolds which are erected before the frame is put into place. Sussex Scaffolding is happy to provide timber frame scaffolds for any new development or extension.
