Large new house developments are just one example of where experience is needed such as at a job on Forton Road where we were contracted to provide timber frame scaffold for 12 new build flats. The scaffold was erected to full height and then adaptations were carried out for external treatments to be completed. We provided the access scaffolding for the demolition of a building on Avery Lane with all lifts boarded and handrailed and then a progressive scaffold for the rising brickwork and block to roof level on the new build part.

At the rear of this public house on the High Street we erected a decorating scaffold with boarded lifts to suit the works and included debris netting to the exterior of the structure to contain any dust or debris.

This project on Harbour Road needed a full scaffold design and calculations carried out to enable us to install a truss out scaffold over the water’s edge and erect four boarded lifts on top for re-decoration of the windows and balconies.

A domestic client on Beech Grove required three lifts of access scaffold to build a new two storey extension at the rear of the property providing a larger kitchen area and new bedroom upstairs. The scaffold was erected in three separate visits and dismantled in one operation.

A raking shore scaffold was installed to the side elevation of a Grange Road building to support the external wall whilst the foundations were dug out and re-poured to resolve a subsidence problem with the property.

Tree protection was supplied and installed to this project on Brewers Lane as part of the planning application. We erected 30m of tree protection to BS5837:2005 and used the in ground system to support the scaffold frame and Heras fencing for the duration.

Edge protection handrails erected on the steel frame at roof level were provided on the Longfield Avenue development to enable the roofing company to install a new kingspan cover and guttering. An access tower was built with an internal ladder access provided to access the works.

Unusual scaffolding projects in Gosport

It’s not often that companies such as ours get to work in the media, but Gosport became the ideal setting for a local production company who hired our services to provide two camera platforms to be erected in a car park. We constructed two lifts of scaffold towers with the top lifts boarded to include a ladder access so that the camera had a stand for filming.
